ATLANTA – State Representative Trey Kelley (R-Cedartown) applauds Governor Brian Kemp’s recent announcement that SOLARCYCLE, a cutting-edge technology-based solar recycling company, will create more than 600 new full-time jobs in Polk County, investing an estimated $344 million in a solar glass manufacturing facility in Cedartown. The facility will be the first-of-its-kind in the country to use recycled materials from retired solar panels to make new solar glass.

State Legislators Now Accepting Nominations for Polk County Board of Elections

ATLANTA – State Representative Trey Kelley (R-Cedartown) today announced that he is currently accepting applications for nominations for the Polk County Board of Elections. During the 2023 legislative session, Rep. Kelley championed House Bill 713 to add two additional positions to the Polk County Board of Elections.

Rep. Trey Kelley Announces State Funding for Cedartown Sara Hightower Library Renovations

ATLANTA – State Representative Trey Kelley (R-Cedartown) today announced that $575,000 is included in the House’s version of the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY 2024) budget for renovations to the Cedartown Public Library. Yesterday, the Georgia House of Representatives passed House Bill 19, or the FY 2024 budget, and this legislation has now been sent to the Senate for its consideration.
