ATLANTA – State Representative Micah Gravley (R-Douglasville) today announced that House Bill 146 was signed into law by Governor Nathan Deal at a bill signing ceremony on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Bill to Provide Insurance Coverage to Firefighters Receives Final Passage

ATLANTA — The Georgia General Assembly today gave final passage to House Bill 146, sponsored by State Representative Micah Gravley (R-Douglasville). HB 146 would require fire departments to provide adequate insurance coverage for firefighters who have been diagnosed with cancer and will now go to Governor Deal for consideration. (more…)
