ATLANTA – State Representative Kasey Carpenter (R-Dalton) yesterday was named by Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) to serve on a bicameral legislative panel tasked with reviewing all Georgia tax credits, including the state’s film tax credit.

Governor Burt Jones and Speaker of the House Jon Burns announce their respective appointees who will work on behalf of the Georgia General Assembly to review all Georgia tax credits, including Georgia’s film tax credit. Announced last month, this review is intended to support Georgia businesses while ensuring a significant return on investment for Georgia’s taxpayers.
ATLANTA – State Representative Kasey Carpenter (R-Dalton) today announced that the Georgia House of Representatives unanimously passed House Bill 404, or the “Safe at Home Act,” on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Sponsored by Rep. Carpenter, the Safe at Home Act would provide more protections for Georgia’s renters while also preserving the rights of landlords.
