ATLANTA – Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) today appointed a Special Committee on Access to Quality Health Care for the 2019-2020 legislative term. This committee follows the recommendations of the House Rural Development Council that the House of Representatives review the regulatory environment for healthcare providers and facilities in the State of Georgia. Rep. Nix Urges Voters to Vote ‘Yes’ on Amendment 5

ATLANTA – State Representative Randy Nix (R-LaGrange) urges Georgia voters to vote yes on Amendment 5 on the November 6 ballot.  The fifth amendment would affect counties with more than one school system and would allow the system or systems with a majority of the students to call for a sales tax referendum to fund school construction.
