Metro Atlanta Legislative Delegation Approves New ARC Citizen District Map

ATLANTA – The metro Atlanta legislative delegation today approved the 2010 update of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s (ARC) Citizen District map. The bipartisan delegation approved a map drawn by the June 16th Working Group by a vote of 21 to 13. (more…)

Georgia Chamber Awards Rep. Mark Hamilton with ‘A’ for 2011 Session

ATLANTA – State Representative Mark Hamilton (R-Cumming) has earned an ‘A’ grade from the Georgia Chamber of Commerce for his strong support of the state’s business community during the 2011 legislative session. The Chamber released its first true legislative scorecard for the 2011-2012 General Assembly, which includes midterm grades for state House and Senate members based upon their votes on legislation deemed important to economic growth and job creation. Rep. Steve Davis Appointed to NCSL Budgets and Revenue Committee

ATLANTA – State Representative Steve Davis (R-McDonough) was recently appointed to serve on the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Communications, Financial Services and Interstate Commerce Committee by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge).
