ATLANTA – State Representative Jimmy Pruett (R-Eastman), a member of the House Budget Committee and the secretary of the Game, Fish, & Parks Committee, is currently seeking funds to restore the lake at Little Ocmulgee State Park in Helena, Ga. The 265 acre lake has incurred an overgrowth of aquatic vegetation, making it less attractive for tourists. Rep. Emory Dunahoo Visited by Deaton Creek Constituents

Rep. Atwood Introduces Legislation to Reform SPLOST

ATLANTA – State Representative Alex Atwood (R-St. Simons) announced today the introduction of House Bill 814, a SPLOST reform bill that would increase public oversight of Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) funds and the voter approved projects those funds support.
