House Committee to Hold Red Tape Watch Meeting in Augusta

ATLANTA—The Georgia House of Representatives’ Small Business Development Committee will continue its Red Tape Watch Initiative by holding meetings throughout the state to hear directly from Georgians about the regulatory challenges they face while evaluating the state’s overall regulatory environment. The committee will hold its third meeting in Augusta this upcoming Tuesday, October 29 at the Snelling Center from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Area business owners are encouraged to attend.

Rep. Trey Kelley Testifies at EPA Hearing

ATLANTA – State Representative Trey Kelley (R-Cedartown) recently testified before the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at a committee hearing on new EPA regulations for reducing carbon pollution from existing power plants. The meeting was held on October, 23, 2013 in Atlanta.
