Rep. Allen Peake Pre-Files Medical Cannabis Bill

ATLANTA— State Representatives Allen Peake (R-Macon) today pre-filed legislation that would allow for the use and production of medical cannabis in Georgia. Rep. Peake’s legislation will be assigned as House Bill 1 for the 2015 legislative session. (more…)

Rep. Margaret Kaiser Visits Children’s Hospital in Augusta

ATLANTA— State Representative Margaret Kaiser (D-Atlanta), along with members of the Joint Study on Prescription of Medical Cannabis for Serious Medical Conditions, recently toured the Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta. Rep. Allen Peake and Rep. Micah Gravley Announce Online Release of “Growing Hope” Documentary

ATLANTA— State Representatives Allen Peake (R-Macon) and Micah Gravley (R-Douglasville) today announced that the Growing Hope film, which recently premiered in Dallas, Georgia, is now available in full length online. Growing Hope is a documentary that follows the life of HB 885 and focuses on decisions parents in Georgia are making to receive treatment for their children. (more…)
