Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Act Signed into Law by Gov. Deal

 

ATLANTA – State Representative Penny Houston (R-Nashville) today announced that Senate Bill 206, the Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Act, was signed into law by Governor Nathan Deal on Monday, May 8, 2017.  SB 206 was co-sponsored by Rep. Rep. Oliver Appointed to House Commission on Transit Governance & Funding

ATLANTA – State Representative Mary Margaret Oliver (D-Decatur) was recently appointed by Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) to serve as a member of the House Commission on Transit Governance & Funding. This commission, which was created during the recent legislative session by House Resolution 848, will study Georgia’s transit needs and analyze ways for the state to adequately plan and provide for those needs. Speaker Ralston Announces Members of the House Commission on Transit Governance & Funding

Rep. Brian Prince Appointed to National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Academy Foundation’s Board of Directors

ATLANTA — State Representative Brian Prince (D-Augusta) was recently appointed to the 2017-2018 Board of Directors for the Georgia National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Academy Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports Georgia’s three National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Academies.
