Statement from Rep. Kip Smith Regarding the Prescribed Burn in FDR State Park

ATLANTA— State Representative Kip Smith (R-Columbus) today issued the following statement regarding the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ decision not to have a prescribed burn in FDR state park:
“I am encouraged by the statement from the Department of Natural Resources in regards to the burn at FDR Park. While I feel like they are listening to the citizens of our district, I will continue to monitor the situation.”
