ATLANTA- Today State Representative Quincy Murphy, chairman of the Augusta Richmond County Legislative Delegation, congratulated former State Representative Hardie Davis on his election to the State Senate and welcomed him back to the Georgia General Assembly and Augusta Richmond County Legislative Delegation.

Representative Quincy Murphy represents the citizens of District 120, which includes portions of Richmond County. He was elected into the House of Representatives in 2000, and currently serves on the Higher Education, Transportation, and Insurance Committees.
