House Speaker David Ralston Appoints Rebecca Sullivan to the State Election Board

ATLANTA- House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) today announced the appointment of Rebecca Sullivan to the State Election Board. A brief biography is below:

Rebecca Sullivan, Lilburn-Sullivan is a member of the Political Law Group, a Chalmers LLC and practices in the areas of federal and state political law. Prior to joining the Political Law Group, she served as a policy advisor and Executive Counsel to Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and she has previously served as a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission, as the consumer member on the Georgia Board of Nursing and as a member of the Board of Directors of MCGHealth Inc. Sullivan is currently a member of the Georgia Regents University Health System Board of Directors where she recently served as Chair of the Finance Committee. Rebecca is a member of the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and serves as the Co-President of the Gwin Oaks Elementary School Parent Teacher Association. She received both her Juris Doctor and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Georgia. Sullivan and her husband have two children, Grace and Nash.

Sullivan will attend her first State Election Board meeting as a member at the upcoming board meeting in September.
