Rep. Ben Harbin Receives American Conservative Union Conservative Award

ATLANTA— State Representative Ben Harbin (R-Evans) received the Conservative All-Stars of the Georgia General Assembly ACU Conservative Award from the American Conservative Union (ACU) at the NCSL Legislative Summit on Tuesday, August 13, 2013.

“I am honored to be recognized as a conservative all-star in the state of Georgia,” said Rep. Harbin. “Through my position in the Georgia House of Representatives, I strive to further represent my constituents in the truest way possible.”

Rep. Harbin was recognized for his score of 89 percent on the ACU 2013 State Legislative Rankings. This ranking is based on the consistency of his votes and support for key conservative principles on a wide range of issues during the 2013 Legislative Session. The ACU rating system has become the conservative standard for voters seeking more information on their representatives’ records throughout 20 different states.
