ATLANTA – State Representative Alisha Thomas Morgan (D-Austell) recently hosted the 12th annual Principals Breakfast to show appreciation for their leadership and get feedback from local school leaders.

“It’s always a privilege to bring together school and community leaders to share ideas on pressing education issues,” said Rep. Morgan. “I was also grateful to thank this group for all their support throughout my time in the legislature. Their commitment to students and the South Cobb Community is unmatched.”

Each year Rep. Morgan hosts this breakfast to hear from school leaders and principals in her school district, as well as talk about pending legislation at the State Capitol. This year’s event was held on Friday, February, 7, 2014 at the Riverside EpiCenter in Austell.

Representative Alisha Thomas Morgan represents the citizens of District 39, which includes portions of Cobb County. She was elected into the House of Representatives in 2002, and currently serves on the Appropriations, Education, Governmental Affairs, Health & Human Services, and Juvenile Justice committees.
