Rep. Sam Moore Receives Committee Assignments for the 2014 Legislative Session

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Sam Moore (R-Ball Ground) to the State Planning, Special Rules, and Interstate Cooperation committees.

“These committees will allow me to learn about less-familiar areas of government, bond with new House members I may otherwise not have met, and also allow me to focus on my fight for transparency under the Gold Dome,” said Rep. Moore. “I will be able to do more with these assignments than many would have anticipated.”

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.
