Representative B.J. Pak Named One of 2014’s Most Influential Georgia State Representatives

ATLANTA – The March/April 2014 edition of James Magazine named State Representative B.J. Pak (R-Lilburn) one of the Most Influential House Members of 2014. He is only one of three sophomore legislators who received this recognition.

“I am honored to be recognized by James Magazine as an influential legislator,” said Rep. Pak. “It is a great honor and privilege to represent my community at the Capitol. I would like to sincerely thank the residents of District 108 for allowing me to serve them.”

Rep. Pak serves as a Deputy Majority Whip. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Judiciary Non-Civil Committee and Secretary of the Code Revision Committee. He is also a member of the influential Health and Human Services committee, and the powerful Ways & Means Committee, in which he serves as the Vice Chairman of the Income Tax Subcommittee.

A litigation partner at Ballard Spahr LLP, a national law firm, Rep. Pak is listed in the highly selective Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business; and is recognized as a Georgia “Super Lawyer” by Atlanta Magazine.

James Magazine is widely considered one of the state’s top resources for Georgia political news and issues. In a list that has become an annual tradition, naming the “who’s who” of Georgia politics, the “2014 Most Influential Georgians” also includes House Speaker David Ralston (R- Blue Ridge), U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, and Coca-Cola Enterprises Chairman/CEO John Brock.
