Rep. Bruce Williamson Earns Perfect Voting Record Score from NFIB

ATLANTA – State Representative Bruce Williamson (R-Monroe) recently received a 100 percent score by the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) for his support for small businesses. This score serves as an evaluation of his voting record on key issues during the 2013-2014 legislative term.

“As a business owner myself, I understand firsthand the importance of small businesses in our community and our state,” said Rep. Williamson. “This knowledge and experience guides my decisions and actions at the State Capitol. I appreciate the NFIB’s confirmation of my pro-business voting record.”

Each year the NFIB tracks significant legislative issues affecting small businesses to tabulate a score for each Georgia legislator based on his or her floor votes on those key issues. The NFIB voting record provides an overall evaluation of law makers’ support for small businesses in Georgia by applying a simple score from zero to 100 percent.

Founded in 1943, the NFIB is a nonpartisan, nonprofit association with a membership consisting of 350,000 small and independent business owners across the nation. According to NFIB, it is America’s leading small-business advocate.
