ATLANTA – State Representative “Able” Mable Thomas (D-Atlanta) recently hosted her 20th annual Christmas Celebration for the children of English Avenue and Vine City.
“The children in the English Avenue and Vine City communities enjoyed food, fun, and received Christmas toys at our annual Christmas Celebration,” said Rep. Thomas.
This event was hosted by Rep. Thomas, the founder of Greater Vine City Opportunities Program Inc., as well as Pastor Egleston, Senior Pastor of Faith Hope and Deliverance Temple. Event sponsors included: Bronner Brothers, Arthur Blank Foundation, Georgia Power, and the City of Atlanta.
Representative “Able” Mable Thomas represents the citizens on District 56, which includes portions of Fulton County. She was first elected into the House of Representatives in 1985 and again in 2012, and currently serves on the Economic Development & Tourism, Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment, and Natural Resources & Environment committees.
