Rep. Dale Rutledge Assigned to New Committees for 2015-2016 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments recently appointed State Representative Dale Rutledge (R- McDonough) to the Ways and Means, and Transportation committees. Rep. Rutledge is also a member of the Agriculture & Consumer Affairs, Judiciary, and Regulated Industries committees.

“I would like to thank Speaker David Ralston for adding me to these two important committees,” said Rep. Rutledge. “I look forward to working with the Transportation Committee this session to address the transportation needs of our great state.”

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.

Representative Dale Rutledge represents the citizens of District 109, which includes portions of Henry, Newton, and Rockdale counties. He was elected into the House of Representatives in 2012, and currently serves on the Agriculture & Consumer Affairs, Judiciary, Regulated Industries, Transportation and Ways and Means committees.
