Rep. David Clark Receives Committee Assignments for the 2015-2016 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative David Clark (R-Buford) to the Small Business Development, State Properties, and Defense and Veterans Affairs committees.

“I am excited and honored to be selected to serve on these committees,” said Rep. Clark. “As a veteran myself, I am especially excited about serving on the Veterans Affairs Committee and being a part of ensuring that our veterans are being taken care of. They deserve the best for their sacrifices that they have made for our country. Also, as a small business owner, I am looking forward to serving on the Small Business Development Committee. My goal is to help the small businesses in our state continue to flourish by passing smart and sensible legislation and by removing “red tape” so that they can succeed. I would like to thank Speaker Ralston and the Committee on Assignments for trusting me with these three committees, and I am looking forward to serving the state of Georgia.”

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.
