Rep. John Corbett Receives Committee Assignments for the 2015-2016 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative John Corbett (R-Lake Park) to the Game, Fish, and Parks, Intragovernmental Coordination, and Natural Resources and Environment committees.

“I am honored to serve my District and the people of Georgia on these three important House committees,” said Rep. Corbett. “From protecting Georgia’s natural resources and wildlife to advancing legislation that fosters growth in towns and cities around the state, I will work diligently to ensure that the decisions we make today create a better, brighter tomorrow.”

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.

Representative John Corbett represents the citizens of District 174, which includes portions of Camden, Charlton, Clinch, Echols, Lowndes and Wares counties. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2014 and currently serves on the Game, Fish, and Parks, Intragovernmental Coordination, and Natural Resources and Environment committees.
