Rep. Scot Turner Welcomes Sequoyah High School Women’s Volleyball Team to State Capitol

ATLANTA— State Representative Scot Turner (R-Holly Springs) today led the Georgia House of Representatives in recognizing the Sequoyah High School women’s volleyball team.

“It was an honor to welcome the Sequoyah High School women’s volleyball team to their State Capitol today,” said Rep. Turner. “This group of young athletes has represented our county well through their sportsmanship, dedication, and athletic talent, and I look forward to seeing what these youth accomplish in years to come.”

The Sequoyah High School women’s volleyball team currently holds the title of 2014 Georgia High School Association Class AAAAA State Champions. The team was recognized before the House with House Resolution 342 to commend the team for its victory.
