ATLANTA — Speaker of the House David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) has appointed the following members to the House Study Committee on Saltwater Intrusion into Coastal Aquifers:
- Rep. Lynn Smith (R-Newnan), Chairman
- Rep. Bob Bryant (D-Garden City)
- Rep. Jesse Petrea (R-Savannah)
- Rep. Chad Nimmer (R-Blackshear)
- Rep. Ron Stephens (R-Savannah)
This study committee is established by House Resolution 601 and will study issues related to saltwater intrusion into coastal aquifers to ensure the continued security of Georgia’s coastal drinking water supply.
