Rep. Erica Thomas Sponsors Project Bliss

ATLANTA – State Representative Erica Thomas (D-Austell), along with Hurt 2 Heal Inc. founder and author Joyce Reed, are sponsoring Project Bliss, a giveaway that includes a day of pampering for a domestic violence survivor.

“I hope Project Bliss reminds victims of domestic abuse that there is life after the storm,” said Rep. Thomas. “These women are survivors, and each one has a purpose. Project Bliss gives a deserving woman a head start on her journey to recovery.”

The primary goal of Project Bliss is to begin the healing process by giving one woman a day to enjoy themselves by gifting an abuse survivor with a day of relaxation and rejuvenation. The individual chosen for this giveaway will be a woman who has survived an abusive relationship.

Rep. Thomas and Reed’s testimonies have brought them together to advocate on behalf of abuse survivors. Rep. Thomas and Reed hope Project Bliss will not only facilitate the healing process, but will also fill abuse survivors with hope.
