ATLANTA – Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) today announced the members of the House Study Committee on Georgians’ Barriers to Access to Adequate Health Care:
- Rep. Sharon Cooper – Chair (R-Marietta)
- Rep. Karen Bennett (D-Stone Mountain)
- Rep. Lee Hawkins (R-Gainesville)
- Rep. Rick Jasperse (R-Jasper)
- Rep. Betty Price (R-Roswell)
In addition, pursuant to the resolution establishing the study committee, Speaker Ralston has appointed the following citizen-members of the committee:
- Yolanda Graham, M.D.
- Karen Sicard, RRT
- Gregory Felzien, M.D.
- Steve Walsh, M.D.
This study committee is created by House Resolution 240 and will examine public policy related to the quality and availability of health care in Georgia for a broad range of medical conditions.
