Speaker Ralston Announces Members of the House Study Committee on Georgians’ Barriers to Access to Adequate Health Care

ATLANTA – Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) today announced the members of the House Study Committee on Georgians’ Barriers to Access to Adequate Health Care:

  • Rep. Sharon Cooper – Chair (R-Marietta)
  • Rep. Karen Bennett (D-Stone Mountain)
  • Rep. Lee Hawkins (R-Gainesville)
  • Rep. Rick Jasperse (R-Jasper)
  • Rep. Betty Price (R-Roswell)

 

In addition, pursuant to the resolution establishing the study committee, Speaker Ralston has appointed the following citizen-members of the committee:

  • Yolanda Graham, M.D.
  • Karen Sicard, RRT
  • Gregory Felzien, M.D.
  • Steve Walsh, M.D.

 

This study committee is created by House Resolution 240 and will examine public policy related to the quality and availability of health care in Georgia for a broad range of medical conditions.
