Speaker Ralston Announces Members of the Joint Study Committee on Stream Buffers in Georgia

ATLANTA – Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) today announced the members of the Joint Study Committee on Stream Buffers in Georgia:

  • Rep. Lynn Smith – Chair (R-Newnan)
  • Rep. Chuck Efstration (R-Dacula)
  • Rep. Scott Holcomb (D-Atlanta)
  • Rep. Chad Nimmer (R-Blackshear)
  • Rep. Kevin Tanner (R-Dawsonville)

 

Pursuant to the resolution establishing the study committee, the Speaker has also appointed the following citizen-members:

  • Tom Crymes – President, Tomco Construction Company (Newnan)
  • Dr. Dale Greene – Dean, University of Georgia School of Forestry (Athens)
  • Mike Worley – President & CEO, Georgia Wildlife Federation (Covington)
