ATLANTA – Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) recently named State Representative Bee Nguyen (D-Atlanta) to the House Education, Governmental Affairs and Human Relations & Aging committees.
“I am honored to serve on Education, Governmental Affairs and Human Relations and Aging,” said Rep. Nguyen. “I’m especially thankful to be appointed to the Education Committee, as education is an issue that is important to the entire district and to the state of Georgia. District 89 is a diverse district with varying needs, and I look forward to serving my district in these committees under Speaker Ralston’s leadership.”

Representative Bee Nguyen represents the citizens of District 89, which includes portions of DeKalb County. She was elected to the House of Representatives in 2017 and currently serves on the Education, Governmental Affairs and Human Relations & Aging committees.
