Rep. Trey Rhodes Named Chairman of House Game, Fish & Parks Committee

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Trey Rhodes (R-Greensboro) as the Chairman of the House Game, Fish & Parks Committee.  Rep. Rhodes will also serve as a member on the Banks and Banking, Economic Development & Tourism, Special Rules and Ways and Means committees.

“I am very humbled and thankful to be appointed chairman of Game, Fish, and Parks by Speaker Ralston,” said Rep. Rhodes. “I look forward to working with the Speaker, the committee and Commissioner Mark Williams to ensure that Georgia remains a great place to enjoy all of our outdoor activities that we have been blessed with.”

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.

 Representative Trey Rhodes represents the citizens of District 120, which includes Greene, Oglethorpe and Taliaferro counties and portions of Putnam and Wilkes counties. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2015 and currently serves as Chairman of the Game, Fish & Parks Committee. He also serves on the Banks and Banking, Economic Development & Tourism, Special Rules and Ways and Means committees.
