Rep. Neal Reads to Pre-K Students

ATLANTA – Today Representative Jay Neal (R –LaFayette) read Green Eggs & Ham to a group of Pre-K students at the Academy for Little People in Chickamauga, GA. This was part of the school’s celebration of Dr. Seuss Week.

“One of my favorite jobs as a dad was reading to my children,” said Rep. Neal. “Reading to young children is the best way to instill them with the desire to read and learn. I can think of no better and simpler way to set a child on the right educational path.”

Dr. Seuss’ birthday was March 2. In honor of this great children’s author, the Academy for Little People has designated this week as “Dr. Seuss Week.”

“The kids enjoyed having Representative Neal come in and read Green Eggs and Ham,” said Christi Wooten, Pre-K Teacher.
