Rep. Pruett Honored as Environmental Leader

ATLANTA – The Georgia Conservation Voters (GCV) presented state Representative Jimmy Pruett (R- Eastman) with its “Environmental Leadership Award.” The award was given to Rep. Pruett in recognition of his pro-conservation actions while serving in the General Assembly.

“It’s an honor to receive the Environmental Leadership Award,” said Rep. Pruett. “I always strive to balance economic development with responsible environmental policies. While it is vital we continue to bring jobs and economic growth to our state, it is just as important to preserve Georgia’s natural beauty.”
GCV is the political voice of the conservation movement in Georgia. The organization seeks to implement policies that ensure clean water and air, abundant wildlife, scenic landscapes, and economic opportunities for all Georgians.
