Speaker Ralston Appoints Richard Hyde

ATLANTA — Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) has appointed Richard Hyde as a citizen member of the Georgia Judicial Qualifications Commission (JQC).  Mr. Hyde is an investigator with the law firm of Balch & Bingham LLP in Atlanta.  Mr. Hyde has previously served as an investigator and a member of the JQC.  His appointment will expire on June 30, 2017.    (more…)

House Military Affairs Study Committee Holds Final Meeting at University of North Georgia in Dahlonega

ATLANTA — The House Military Affairs Study Committee, chaired by State Representative Dave Belton (R-Buckhead), held its final meeting on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, one of only six senior military colleges in the country and home to the Corps of Cadets.
