ATLANTA – State Representative Barry Fleming (R-Harlem) celebrated the 21st Anniversary of Georgia’s Pre-K program last week by visiting North Harlem Elementary as part of “Georgia Pre-K Week.” During his visit, Rep. Fleming read to a group of 4-year-old pre-kindergarten students and saw firsthand the learning that happens each day thanks to Georgia’s Pre-K Program.

Georgia Legislators Head to South Carolina for First Savannah River Basin Joint-State Caucus Meeting

ATLANTA – Members of Georgia’s Savannah River Basin Legislative Caucus will travel together tomorrow to Columbia, South Carolina, where they will meet with their counterparts in the South Carolina state legislature. During this rare joint-state caucus meeting, state legislators from Georgia and South Carolina who represent districts along the Savannah River will meet to discuss issues pertaining to the Savannah River. Rep. Barry Fleming Receives Committee Assignments for the 2013-2014 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Barry Fleming (R-Harlem) as the Secretary of the Interstate Cooperation Committee. Rep. Fleming will also serve on the Governmental Affairs; Industry and Labor; and Judiciary committees.
