Rep. Chuck Martin Named Co-chair of CSG Energy & Environment Committee

ATLANTA – State Representative Chuck Martin (R-Alpharetta) was recently appointed as a co-chair of the Council of State Governments’ (CSG) Energy and Environmental Public Policy Committee for the 2013-2014 biennium. The committee is designed to encourage multi-state problem solving and sharing of best practices, and to facilitate networking among state officials in all three branches of government and between the public and private sectors.

Rep. Chuck Martin Named to Southern Legislative Conference Energy and Environment Committee

ATLANTA— House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) today announced the appointment of state Representative Chuck Martin (R-Alpharetta) to the Southern Legislative Conference (SLC) Energy and Environment Committee. As the presiding officer of the Georgia House of Representatives, Speaker Ralston is charged with selecting members to represent Georgia within SLC.

Rep. Chuck Martin Reads to Local Pre-K Class During “Georgia Pre-K Week”

ATLANTA – State Representative Chuck Martin (R-Alpharetta) joined government leaders from across the state this week in offering his support for the Georgia Pre-K program. As part of “Georgia Pre-K Week,” held October 3-7, Rep. Martin visited Kids R Kids on Tuesday, October 4th, where he read to pre-kindergarten students and saw firsthand the learning that happens each day thanks to Georgia’s Pre-K Program.
