ATLANTA – State Representative Butch Parrish (R-Swainsboro), chairman of the Special Committee on Healthcare, was named by Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) to serve as the chairman of the House Study Committee on Certificate of Need Modernization.
ATLANTA – Today, Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) commented on the plans for Augusta University to establish a four-year medical school campus of the Medical College of Georgia at the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University in Savannah.

ATLANTA – Today, Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) appointed a House Special Committee on Healthcare to be chaired by Rep. Butch Parrish (R-Swainsboro). This committee will oversee and coordinate the House’s healthcare policy – both legislative and budgetary.
