Rep. Stovall Named to House and NCSL Committees

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Valencia Stovall (D-Forest Park) to the Economic Development & Tourism, Education, Interstate Cooperation and Small Business Development committees. Rep. Stovall will also serve as the Vice Chair of both the House Education Subcommittee on Early Learning and K-12 Education and the House medical cannabis working group. (more…)

Rep. Stovall Named Chair of Clayton County Delegation

ATLANTA — State Representative Valencia Stovall (D-Forest Park) was recently elected to serve as Chair of the Clayton County Legislative Delegation for the 2017-2018 legislative term of the Georgia General Assembly. Rep. Valencia Stovall Hosts Healing Communities Orientation Training

ATLANTA — State Representative Valencia Stovall (D-Forest Park) recently co-hosted a Healing Communities Orientation training led by Tony Lowden, Director of Faith and Justice Initiative with the Georgia Department of Community Supervision (DCS). The event was held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Clayton State University, where approximately 40 attendees, representing various nonprofits, took part in the training. (more…)
