Rep. Gravley Commends MembersFirst Credit Union for Receiving Business Partner of the Year Award

ATLANTA – State Representative Micah Gravley (R-Douglasville) commended the MembersFirst Credit Union for receiving the Georgia Association of Career & Technical Education’s (GACTE) NW Region Business Partner of the Year Award. The GACTE awards recognize outstanding achievements by individuals who have made contributions to the career and technical education field, programs that exemplify the highest standards and organizations that have conducted activities to promote and expand career and technical education.

“The MembersFirst Credit Union continues to be an outstanding partner for Georgia’s educational professionals,” said Rep. Gravley. “The MembersFirst Credit Union is leading the way for other organizations in supporting career and technical education for the entire northwest region of Georgia, and I am especially grateful for their contributions to the Paulding County and Douglas County school districts.”

MembersFirst Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) that partners with two school systems in Paulding and Douglas County, as well as various healthcare facilities in Georgia. The organization offers a full suite of financial services specializing in savings and checking accounts, consumer loans, credit cards and mortgages. The MembersFirst Credit Union will receive the award at the 2019 GACTE Summer Leadership Conference on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Athens, Georgia.

GACTE is a state affiliate of the national Association for Career & Technical Education (ACTE) organization and advocates for policies that impact career, technical and agricultural education.
