Rep. Beth Moore Introduces Legislation to Eliminate “Meretricious Relationship” from Workers’ Compensation Laws

Rep. Beth Moore Introduces Legislation to Return Control of Ballot Drop Boxes to County Governments

ATLANTA – State Representative Beth Moore (D-Peachtree Corners) recently introduced House Bill 1096, legislation that would allow county governments to oversee the use of ballot drop boxes in certain elections. If passed and signed into law, HB 1096 would override the ballot drop box requirements implemented by Senate Bill 202.

ATLANTA – State Representative Brenda Lopez Romero (D-Norcross) and House Minority Leader Bob Trammell (D-Luthersville), along with State Representatives David Dreyer (D-Atlanta), Jasmine Clark (D-Lilburn) and Beth Moore (D-Peachtree Corners), today introduced House Bill 896 to allow high schools graduates in Georgia to receive in-state tuition rates, regardless of their immigration status.
